This week we were reading the story of ‘The Princess and the Pea.’
We then drew the bed and twenty mattresses with crayon and pastel. After this we painted the mattresses and noticed that painting on crayon or pastel created a great effect as the wax resists the paint and so you could see the patterns on our mattresses very clearly.
Now all we have to do is choose a colour to finish off the background of our pictures and then add a pea under the first mattress!
