CÚRAM together with St Anthony’s and Claddagh Credit Union (SACU) Community Engagement Programme, usually carry out school visits as part of this programme. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions this cannot happen this year. Instead, CÚRAM have created a heart toolkit to teach students about the science of the heart and to activate creativity. The toolkit shows the type of exciting topics scientists explore every day in the lab. The toolkit includes a booklet of activities all about the heart with interesting fact sheets, art supplies and instructions on science and art projects that can done in the classroom or at home. What an amazing classroom resource.
