We were very privileged to welcome Nigel Keady FAI and his team to our school today. They were presenting Galway 2020 / FAI ‘Onside’ programme, a unique football and student education programme, in partnership with Galway2020, as part of the European Capital of Culture. The project is using football to celebrate diversity and inclusion, as well as raising awareness of racism in the community and in schools. 5th and 6th Class really enjoyed the session and also had great fun working on their soccer skills.
