Teaching artist Alison MacCormaic joined 5th and 6th class via Zoom this morning for her first of three workshops. The children were looking at the steps in the design process; drawing for design, doing their own drawings and including a plan, elevation and section of the item in their drawings. Alison then set the children a hypothetical challenge and the children had to use drawings and quick sketches to think through concept ideas. A great morning with lots of amazing results!
