There was great excitement in school today as everybody got to visit The Dome that was set up in our hall. Once inside The Dome, the images on display were amazing! We got to see the planets, some constellations AND a movie that was shown on the ceiling - 360°...

First and Second Class have been working on forces and investigating the effect of forces and friction on objects. Today we did an experiment to see which material would let some cars travel furthest. The materials we tried were cardboard, wood, carpet and bubblewrap....

Rehearsals for our Carol Service on December 7th at 7pm in St. Nicholas’ Church are in full swing! It promises to be a very festive and enjoyable service again this year. Check back later for more photos!

Our annual Christmas Carol Service will take place this year on Wednesday the 7th of December at 7pm in St. Nicholas’ Collegiate Church. It promises to be a very joyous and festive occasion - a lovely way to prepare for the Christmas season. We look forward to seeing...

This week in English, First and Second Class are working on procedural writing. In our first activity we had to read the instructions of a recipe and follow each step carefully. After following the directions very carefully, the result was......a banana milkshake!...

Dress Up Day AND a Bake Sale all in the one school day!! A great day was had by all!!  

Junior and Senior Infants enjoyed Dress Up Day immensely.  They played traditional Halloween games. They got a bit wet when they were dunking for apples. Some children's' faces were covered in flour! They were trying to slice off some of the mound of flour without...

1st and 2nd Class had great fun carving out a pumpkin! Everybody scooped some of it out....even though it was quite gooey!!

Park ‘n’ Stride stickers are now available for the school year 2016/17. Make sure you fill in the form and return it to the school so as to get your car sticker and avail of this great facility.

Dress Up Day will also take place next Thursday 27th October. We have had lots of magnificent costumes over the years such as favourite characters from books and films! The excitement is already building for this years Dress Up Day! Check back to see the photos!...

Our annual Bake Sale will take place next Thursday 27th October at 11.30. This is an opportunity for the whole school community to come and meet each other and especially for new parents to meet with parents already in the school. All are welcome!
