Dr. Noirin Burke from Galway Atlantaquaria joined 5th and 6th class via Zoom again this morning for her final of three workshops, which have covered topics such as how our oceans have changed over the last 500 years, our impact on the oceans, the future of our oceans and ocean exploration along with experiments including an investigation into how carbon dioxide effects the PH of water. Next week Dr. Sarah Gundy from Cúram joins us for more workshops and the children will be carrying out some scientific investigations.
