Mrs Walsh and the Infant Classes are going to visit Teddy Bear Hospital in NUIG on Friday at 11am. They will be bring their teddies with them to get them checked out by the doctors and make sure they are all in good health!
This event is organised by the Sláinte Society, the NUI Galway branch of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations, and up to 200 medical and science students will diagnose and treat the teddy bears on the day! In the process, they hope to help children, ranging in age from three to eight, feel more comfortable around doctors and hospitals.
