The annual trip to Villiers School in Limerick was thoroughly enjoyed again this year despite the heavy showers! Well done to everyone for their team spirit and participation.  

In Infants we looked at Aboriginal paintings. We talked about how they were multi- coloured. We talked about how they were made up of dots. We talked about how they contained many circles. Then we painted our beautiful pictures using these ideas.

Some classes took advantage of the beautiful weather today and had their lunch al fresco! What a happy bunch of children!  

There was a lovely smell around St. Nicholas’ today as some of the 3rd Class girls were baking chocolate chip cookies! The feedback was that they were delicious!! Nice work girls!  

5th and 6th Class were looking at doors, windows and buildings in their locality in art this week. Check back for the finished products!
