Today, we welcomed to our school, Dr. Nathan Quinlan, senior lecturer in Engineering at NUI Galway.
Nathan visited us as part of #EngineersWeek2020 and spoke to all classes about the work of an engineer.
Each class got the chance to make their very own ‘wind turbine’ and test the electricity output. The senior classes were challenged to test and make changes to their models to see if they could improve their output.
A big Thank You to Nathan for hosting such an active and enjoyable workshop! I think we have some future engineers on our hands!
