On Friday, Colette from RTÉ Jr Radio came in to record our Senior Classes giving their opinions on lots of science related topics e.g. Why do some birds migrate? Why does my hair sometimes stand up when I comb it? Why is the sky blue? Following the recordings, the whole school sang ‘Thank You for the Summer Morning’ and ‘This Pretty Planet’ …….to say that Colette was more than impressed with the talent of the children in St. Nicholas’, Waterside, Galway City might be an understatement!!!
